KENS 5 San Antonio morning anchor Sarah Forgany is in the hospital ICU on a ventilator according to a Facebook post on her account by her family:
"To all of Sarah’s beloved viewers,
Sarah ran into complications during her recovery from surgery yesterday morning. She’s currently in ICU on a ventilator. We have no clue how long she will be here - doctors expect her recovery to take weeks - so we wanted you to know it may be a while before you see her on air again.
She is in good spirits and keeping the faith, but we would sincerely appreciate all your prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Forgany was in also in the hospital in late March 2023.
She joined KENS 5 in 2010.
